I can’t help but award JB Skully and Max, again with the Road to Romance Reviewer’s Choice Award. The writing and the story is always better than the last tale. I cannot get enough of Max, Witt, Cameron and even the evil Bud Traynor. We met Witt’s mother, Ladybird in this tale and she added much contention for Max, but a lot of humour for the reader. I am desperately waiting on pins and needles to see what happens next in the lives of Max Starr and DeWitt Quentin Long. The next book in this series can’t come soon enough for me!
