About Jasmine Haynes
Jasmine Haynes adores a good fantasy. That's what really gets her going. Her characters walk in the every day world, their secret passions sometimes hidden, sometimes out there for all to see. But in the end, they all get released. We've asked Jasmine a few questions, the answers to which will clue the reader in on the differences between Jasmine Haynes and JB Skully.
Thoughts on the new on-line dating craze: For me, plots abound. My mind races. How about the married woman who goes on line to find a little excitement because her husband no longer seems to want her, and she falls madly in love with a special "voice" in her inbox. Only to have him turn out to be her very-much-interested husband. Or the single girl who discovers her brother's best friend, the one she's always lusted after, has joined the on-line dating circuit. She sets out to snare him. Maybe she finds him, or maybe she finds someone completely unexpected. I could go on and on.
Favorite book: Emma Holly's Ménage (oh my God, who borrowed my dog-eared copy!?! E-mail alert!). Okay, it's not the two guy, one girl thing . . . all right, there is that, but it's the romance, the hope for the happy ever after. Honest to God, I believe in it.
Favorite TV show: Sex in the City. Six Feet Under, especially the season where Brenda was picking up men at stop signs, in lingerie shops, and at book readings. Not to mention her massage table.
Favorite movies: Laura, Leave Her to Heaven, The Best Years of Our Lives, and A Man and A Woman. Let's face it, I love classic movies, especially if they feature Gene Tierney or Dana Andrews. And then there's Marnie with the delicious Sean Connery. And anything with Kurt Russell in it. Oh, but the question was about movies, not movie actors.
Favorite Fantasy: You'll just have to read my books, because those are my favorite fantasies. And I'd love to share them with you.
